National Freedom Day Celebrations

Bakoena Royal Council, led by Morena e Moholo Moremoholo Mopeli, wishes all South Africans a Happy Freedom Day.

Morena e Moholo, Mofumahali MaMotebang Mopeli, Morena Napo Mopeli, Morena Letsie Mopeli, Morena Lefa Mopeli, Morena Peete Mopeli le Morena Seetshetso Mopeli attended the National Freedom Day celebrations held at Dr Rantlai Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein. Ba bile teng ho bontsha boitlamo ba boetapele ba setso ho tshehetsa puso le setjhaba.

The Bakoena Royal Council echoes the sentiments shared by President Cyril Ramaphosa that the freedom we enjoy today was not handed to us, it was fought for by our people and secured by our Constitution. Tokoloho ena ke lefa leo re tshwanetseng ho le hlompha le ho le sireletsa.

Let us be worthy of that freedom.

Let us deepen it.

Let us defend it.
