On the 6th of November 2024, Bakoena Royal House and the University of Free State formalised their collaborative relationship by way of a Memorandum of Understanding.

The main objectives of the MoU is to develop collaborative programmes and projects in areas of mutual interest of both parties.

This momentous occasion was graced by Marena a Bakoena, acting Vice Chancellor of UFS and the Exevutive Mayor of Maluti-a-Phofung, Mme Malekula Melato.
