Bakoena Royal Council Partners with London-Based Manifesto Press
COMING SOON - THE FIRST EVER BAKOENA ROYAL COUNCIL COMMUNITY LIBRARY
Today, the Bakoena Royal Council met with Manifesto Press Co-operative, based in London, United Kingdom.
Manifesto Press has committed to establishing a two-way partnership with the Kgosatsana Manapo Library, aimed at mobilising books and other published materials in both print and digital formats. The partnership will also provide access to its vast international network of authors, educators and activists committed to working directly with the library and the communities it serves.
In a brief statement, Nick Wright, Chairperson of Manifesto Press, said:
“Manifesto Press is not in the business of selling books, but rather in the promotion of ideas and critical thinking. Manifesto Press is built on robust partnerships and our collaborators are our comrades and friends.”
