Bakoena Royal Council Leads Tree Planting Drive in QwaQwa
Bakoena Royal Council, led by Morena e Moholo Moremoholo Mopeli, in partnership with Youth In Action and Forestry, today planted 130 trees across QwaQwa. The initiative benefited 10 cooperatives, 5 schools, and 5 churches.
Morena Mopeli highlighted the aim of the campaign: “Our goal is to raise awareness about the importance of planting trees for people, for the environment, and for future generations.”
The project comes as part of broader efforts to promote environmental sustainability and community well-being in the face of climate change.
